Dette er en kamp vi i Rødt støtter. At politiske aktivister, som kjemper for grunnleggende rettigheter, blir fengslet og dømt til døden er forkastelig. Under kan du lese brevet vårt til ambassadøren:\n\nTo the Iranian Ambassador to Norway,\nWe, Hege Bae Nyholt (MP, the Red Party), Sofie Marhaug (MP, the Red Party), Seher Aydar (MP, the Red Party) and Bjørnar Moxnes (MP and leader of the Red Party), condemn the imprisonment of oppositional voices by the Iranian regime.\n\nTherefore, we have taken upon ourselves political sponsorships of the prisoners Saman Seydi (Yasin), Sajjad Iman Nezhad, Mohammad Boroughani and the brothers Farhad and Farzad Tahazadeh. \n\nAll of them are awaiting the death penalty, simply for using their voices to promote democracy and human rights in Iran. We strongly urge you and the leadership in Iran, to free these and other political prisoners.\n\nThe wrongful death of Jina Amini has led to a popular uproar among people from Iran, both domestic and abroad. This is the voice of the people, and the government and government officials should listen, not imprison, the voices who call for a new era for Iran. \n\nOnce again, we demand that the voices of democracy shall be heard. Not silenced with oppression and violence. Stop the death penalty against the political prisoners.\n#StopExecutionsInIran
