Ireland embarks on new pro-choice and pro-women future

Brussels26 May 2018   The Irish have voted overwhelmingly in favour of repealing the 8th amendemnt that made it illegal in almost all cases for a women to terminate a pregnancy. This move to repeal the draconian abortion law will bring Ireland in line with the majority of European countries allowing for abortion on request up to the 12th week of pregnancy.
